Welcome to ItalyandtheHolocaust.org (the “Site”), operated by Italy and the Holocaust, Inc. and its successors, licensees and assigns (collectively, “Company”). By using the Site, you signify your assent to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all of the provisions of this Privacy Policy, do not use this Site. Further, you may not use the Site if you are not thirteen (13) years of age or older. Company may revise and update This Privacy Policy at any time and you agree to review it periodically to be aware of such changes. Your continued use of the Site will mean you accept such changes.

Company takes its privacy and security obligations seriously and has developed this Privacy Policy with these obligations in mind. This Privacy Policy will provide you with an overview of the various ways in which Company collects, stores and uses information provided in connection with the Site.

PARENTAL ADVISORY: IF YOU ARE A USER BETWEEN THE AGES OF 13 AND 17, PLEASE REVIEW THIS PRIVACY POLICY WITH YOUR PARENTS. THE SITE IS NOT INTENDED FOR CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 13 AND COMPANY DOES NOT KNOWINGLY COLLECT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 13. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

If you choose to use the Site (including, without limitation, to submit any Submitted Content and/or make any donations to Company), Company may collect both personal and non-personal information about you (collectively, “Information”). “Non-personal Information” (known as demographic information) is general information that will not identify you personally (unless it is associated with any Personal Information that you choose to submit to Company). This information may include, without limitation, your activity within the Site, IP address, age, gender and/or geographic location. “Personal Information”, on the other hand, is information that identifies you and may be used to contact you, such as your name, billing and payment information, telephone number and email address. Company does not require you to submit Personal Information in order to access or use the Site, and will only collect such information if you choose to submit it in connection with any donations and/or Submitted Content. Company may take your Personal Information and make it non-personally identifiable, either by combining it with information about other, or by removing characteristics that make the information personally identifiable to you.

HOW WE USE INFORMATION

All Information Company collects through the Site may be used for Company’s legitimate business purposes, including, without limitation, communicating with you, processing your donations, enhancing your Site experience, and/or providing you with updates on special events, news, marketing materials, promotions and other email announcements of interest.

Company may, from time to time, engage third parties to perform services for or on behalf of Company. These services may include, without limitation, donation processing, analytics, Site maintenance, development and/or marketing. Although it may be necessary for Company to share certain Information with such third-parties for the limited purpose of performance of their functions, Company will not sell or rent any Information to any third party (except as required in the event of a bankruptcy or reorganization).

Notwithstanding the foregoing, Company reserves the right to disclose any Information when Company believes in good faith that such disclosure: (a) is required by law, including, for example, to comply with a court order or subpoena or to cooperate in any law enforcement or public safety investigation; (b) will help protect your safety or security, including the safety and security of property that belongs to you; and/or (c) protect the safety and security of any of Company’s websites and/or any third party.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, you may not update or remove any Submitted Content (as such term is defined in the Terms and Conditions of this Site), and Company’s use of such Submitted Content shall at all times be governed by the license granted by you under the Terms and Conditions.
